A Self Help Assistance Program (ASAP) is a local NGO in Malawi committed to uplifting the social and economic rights of the poor and vulnerable groups of people especially rural poor women. ASAP deliver community led sustainable development interventions that promote: Financial Inclusion of the Poor through Savings-led micro finance and Women-led rural enterprise development. Additionally, ASAP promotes Women-led Sustainable agriculture, Sustainable WASH through low cost water technologies and renewable use of the environment. At the heart of its work, ASAP promote women’s rights through Advocacy work that engages local and national power structures to be responsive and accountable to the voice/demands/ needs and rights of rural poor women.
